Roberson was attacked by unknown gunmen on his way to his radio station in Haiti last year and seriously wounded. Receiving several bullet wounds in his arms and chest, he continues to heal one year later. Roberson is filing stories as a freelancer on what is happening in Haiti, reporting through his network of sources in the country. He is a journalism fellow at the University of Michigan.
