Francesco Marconi

Francesco Marconi is a computational journalist and co-founder of real-time information company Applied XL

He is the former manager of strategy at The Associated Press and R&D Chief at The Wall Street Journal

 An affiliate researcher at MIT Media Lab and a Tow Fellow at Columbia University, Francesco explores how media organizations can adopt tomorrow’s technologies to tell powerful stories today. Francesco started his career at the United Nations researching science and technology solutions for developing countries, resulting in the publishing of his first book and TED talk on Reverse Innovation.
