Alfred Friendly Alumni Fund

We’re so glad you’re pitching in!

By joining forces with your fellow Alfred Friendly Alumni and contributing to our program, you help us grow the network of journalists around the globe who have benefited from six months of training and mentoring at the Missouri School of Journalism and major newsrooms in the United States.

No one understands more than you and the other alums just how important this fellowship can be to the career of a dedicated journalist and to the profession of journalism in his or her home country.

More than 300 aspiring and inspiring journalists from 80 countries have graduated from the Alfred Friendly program since 1984. Our plan is to enhance the program and expand the training opportunities in the United States and abroad to improve professional journalism in information-hungry countries.

In addition to your generous donation – our hope is for the Alfred Friendly Alumni to fund a fellowship each year – we want to hear from you and stay in touch. Please let us know about your accomplishments. We encourage you to join the Alfred Friendly Fellow Alumni Facebook group if you haven’t already.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE:  Host a fundraiser, form a giving circle, or make in-kind donations. Other options are here.
